PS: Was kidding about the beer, I enjoy doing that kind of stuff - but around here a beer at the bar goes for around 1€, much less if taken from the supermarket shelf.

1 Euro however seems like such a good price compared to here... A 24 pack will run you $40.95 for domestic, though I suppose with the exchange rate that would still be a fairly similar cost.

Damn! Here a 24 Pack goes for €14 (here's an example). Less if you go for a not-so-known brand (but good enough if you're on a budget).

Well apparently I was wrong... Damnit, that's a good price. Why can't our beer be so cheap? Though, what's the alcohol content?

As do I, but just by increasing the colour count doubled the filesize, so, as an avatar, is a no-go.
