On a tablet the App would be great. Easier to operate than the PC.
I am using a 10 inch netbook right now. At times it seems small.
The only thing here, it is where you have to run some network or print controller troubleshooting and you need the laptop (for the NIC card). I would not carry a tablet and a laptop. And the tools and the vacuum and the spares.

Viewing Point-to-Point wiring diagrams might work better on a tablet if the scrolling and touch screen were really HQ, but that's about it. Parts breakdowns and shop manuals are already hard enough to read on a 14" screen - couldn't imagine it on anything smaller, yet Ricoh seems dead set on combining our already overgrown and clunky dispatch device with our already too small and ageing laptops and smash them into some sort of tablet device.

Damn idiots need to ask somebody who actually does the job before they start handicapping us.
