    Well yes these days you can get away with making movies that long. In 1984 not so much....speaking of 1984...that would be a good reboot as well....

    They can improve the result if used sparingly but as in the case of the newish Star Wars movies ruin the experience altogether. You are bombarded with cgi throughout the whole film and after a while get so used to it the next dramatic event loses its impact.

    I can not even watch the Star Wars prequels they were so bad...I can however watch Plinkett's reviews of them at Red Letter Media where he tears them to shreds...they are hilarious...

    I found out today Flight of the Navigator will also be remade. One of my favourite films when I was a kid will be RUINED.

    On a lighter note, watched the new Total Recall last night. Twas rather good. Can't beat the original tho. Apparently it was a prequel / sequel / tie-in to Minority Report?
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    They are just copying the batman's costume but i still don't care the new robo cup out fits just look great.
