The next hurdle is the firmware on the Mpc 5503 etc with Numerous DF's and OP Panels.

I'm just waiting for the first one to "crash" and the tech not to own up.

    Wink Re: Lazy ass techs....

Here is a food for thought.

Why aren't we setting up a new business ? The lot of us who know each other ?

What can go possibly wrong? From posts you know the knowledge and experience of everyone in here.

Understand, that we are all over the place, so we would have to think Global, but if you thinking about it. How many great techs ended in sales, because they knew what they were talking about and had enough of Bob's .....And they grew. Why can't we?

I would love to work with people who have drive to know more and become better and not with Bob's pinching hard earned solutions for them to get up the ladder.
I love this site. I've learned a lot and I think I have passed a lot of my experience. But I am still hungry for more information and experience to share with the right and willing minded.

Wouldn't it be a fantastic World
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?

My only issue with googling things like that is that the more numbers you put in, the less useful information you get out. Especially when you try googling an error or jam code you can't find in the latest manual.

There is no way you can find firmware through Google, and if you did find something would you trust it?
Most of us have logins for the manufactures sites apart from him of course.

Oh I get my Firmware from the manufacturers. Although I have sated my curiosity and found firmware for KonMin, and HP from a variety of other sources.

What I meant was searching for some error codes and jam codes etc for Xerox, or HP, or whatever because I can't locate them in the latest manual. For instance, CM505da chain code for the K Drum (found out from emailing someone from Fuji Xerox) The code wasn't even stated in the manual.

I've worked with many of the techs described. I refer to them as genetic deficient anomalies.
