Conservatives, at least in America, are generally dim witted rubes with an inferiority complex, while liberals are idiots with a superiority complex. Either way, both sides of the spectrum need to be ridiculed, pilloried for their stupidity, and held to account for their mistakes.

Democracy works when the loonies on the fringes get washed away in the horse trading done by those in the middle. Sadly, we have taken things to extremes in this country to extremes to the point where we hold the same blind allegiance to political parties that we do sports teams. The dirty truth in politics is that no-one should get everything they want: everyone should leave the table with something to barter for in the future.

Overall, what we need is a little more common sense, and a lot less taking an all or nothing approach. Extremes are great for suicide bombers, but not so great for politicians.

I have always believed that it is better to do nothing then to do the wrong thing. Politicians in both major parties and probably the minor ones as well generally propose the wrong thing.

As soon as people stop believing politicians give a rats ass about their problems the better off they will be. Most politicians are in politics to line their pockets, and to help as many of their friends as possible

I don't think people are about to stop believing in politicians! these guys...i mean the politicians, have thoroughly perfected and mastered their trade. They tell the people what the people's ears are itching to hear; lies, lies and more lies; empty promises and more empty promises! Who among the people want to hear the TRUTH being told? The truth is very boring to listen to! The politicians know this simple fact about the truth, so they can't waste their time speaking it to the people; it is lies like 'building a bridge where there's no water' the people want to hear. Politics is like wooing a girl....the more heaven on earth you promise her, the higher your chances of succeeding.
Telling or preaching people the truth? Ask Jesus what happened to him?
