I have a bad habit of singing or humming when I'm looking up part numbers for field techs. I try not to. It's a matter of trying to fill "dead space" on the phone when I'm talking to someone.

I should also quit telling the customers after I have fixed their machine "there are days that I think I could do this for a living"
I talk to myself when trying to figure out problems, and answer my own questions. I have had customers ask me what I said and I have to tell them I'm talk to myself, and I sure it looks strange for someone to have a conversation with themselves, but this has lead to solving many issues. My wife makes fun of me when she sees me do this and once asked why. I told her I enjoy good conversations with intelligent people.
