this is a site i use for my local gas prices. very accurate for here. prices have been anywhere between what they are now and 2.90 and back down.
whats fuel like in your area? do not make this political!

does anyone drive a diesel engine? have you considered bio-diesel or used vegetable oil for fuel. if you have an XM satillite radio, tune into channel 171 the open road,(truckers channel) they are really pushing this fuel. and giant trucking companies have already switched over and are saving huge amounts of money.

Travelled this weekend from Baltimore to Atlanta and back. Baltimore prices at 2.97 - 3.03. Kept getting cheaper the further south we went. Paid 2.56 in South Carolina. Saw everything from 2.56 - 2.73 while in the South.

Just paid $3.10 at an AM/PM in Seattle. That is the cheapest I have gotten it for in a long time.

I\'m in Converse, Texas, just outside of San Antonio and as of today the best I have found for regular is 2.60 at a Mom and Pop place just down the street. Average seems to be about 2.65 everywhere else.

Being in the field and using my own vehicle my mileage is just as important as what I pay at the pump because it effects how much of my auto allowance I can keep. I used to drive a KIA that averaged 16 MPG . I traded it in for a Toyota that averages 38 MPG, and that means I am paying bout 10 cents a mile less than I was. it's back up to $2.97 at Costco by me. I bet it goes to $3.10 by the end of the month.
