Seems like yesterday's patches (at least for Server 2008) took down one of my customer's RightFax server yesterday.
Fortunately, a reboot was all it took to fix.

apparently "patch tuesday didn't hit my laptop till thursday night, as I came into the office this morning to the BSOD and after restarting I got the preparing to install.............Fucking Microshit!!!!!!!!

I turn automatic download/install of updates off. The only way my Crashdows are going down is if I make them.
It's easier to install updates handful by handful so I can roll back if something happens, rather than sifting through a thousand updates
