Good Luck finding the next workplace ....

I saw a sign once that read " As you're waiting for the next door to open :
Do something worth-while in the hallway " .
    "The Serenity Prayer" . . .
God grant me the serenity to accept stupid people , the courage to not waste my time and energy on them , and the wisdom to know that I cannot fix STUPID .

I tend to tap dance. People get upset when I just stand around.

    Still have my humor!
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Now to make things worse, I have been in the hospital for the last week for a very nasty infection. If I had waited 2 more days to see the doctor, I would be sorting manuals with Paul right now.

    what else can go wrong?.

    Re: Broken heart and pockets

    True story:
I got out of hospital after serious surgery and still in pain.
Drive to get a RX filled and the battery in my truck is dead.
I am thinking it is a good thing I don' have a dog or I would be a living Country Western song.

After 3 months I finally get ex to have dinner with me so I can then I can get my stuff.
She has 6 of the most loving dogs and a cat she ignores.
All the animals remember me and go nuts and each climbs in my lap one @ a time.
Gives me time to say goodbye to each.
I know it is over and just deal with it.

I decided to stop @ the bar when a Country Western song starts playing and realized I just lost 6 dogs and a cat.
I haven't laughed so hard in years.
There was the lost dogs missing from the song.
I am now a living example of a Country Western song.
I wished I could play it backward. LOL

To make things even funnier, I went out to the back patio to have a smoke, when 3 puffs later they turned off the lights.
The lyrics came to my mind "When the music's over, turn out the lights."

I had half the bar asking me what was so funny.

Just a note to just hang on a little bit longer.
    Things have to change.
I interviewed and hope I get a job repairing robots.

    Thanks for all the support.

PS: I have even gotten funnier and more tolerant around people.

Take heart, don't lose hope, lest you perish! Has anyone ever warned you that 'things will get worse before it gets better? That there will be some chaos on the path to order? That there will be tears as well as laughter on the path to better alignment?

If I may suggest, ''TRY JESUS!!!, He will come calm down the storm in your life; he has the power and authority to calm even the winds and the waves!. He will give you the abundant life & the future you hope for, AND your life will never be the same!!!" He is the prince of peace. You may PM me for 'His contact address there in the US'.

    Re: Broken heart and pockets

I have had so many doors close in my life (I'm on a down at the moment as another door closed 2 weeks ago), but, in my experience, even when it feels like life will never be good again, the next door opens to something even better and you end up wondering why you ever grieved for what you lost.
Thinking of you hunny, I'm glad you've kept your sense of humour, it really does help.
