Update:
Second surgery today. 127 minutes this time, rather than over 3 hours the last time.
And it seems practice makes perfect. The anesthesiologist did a much better job of dosing her this time. She was hardly sick, alert, and good coloring right after the surgery.
Back to blackcat the homecare specialist. But I think we'll both do better the second time around. I forgot to ask if this was the half-joint replacement or full-joint replacement ... I suppose it doesn't matter as long as it was the right choice. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I think my Sweetie has discovered that she has unexpected resources, and more strength of character that she expected. I'm very proud. =^..^=

Mrs. blackcat is home. She's moving around better than before but the pain is worse. Her confidence level is better. =^..^=

With the assistance of the PT and two nurses, Mrs. blackcat made her first trip all the way up the stairs to the 2nd floor since surgery. By herself, she's limiting her stair practice to 5 up, 5 down. She's ditched the walker yesterday, and is using the cane only.
We both got a nice surprise this evening. Mrs. blackcat cooked dinner. Me for two reasons: 1) I didn't have to cook, and 2) she's a much better cook than I am. I believe she's on track for a 01 Jan return to work. =^..^=

Woo-hoo you two, good job - hope the rest of the recovery goes well. As an aside, David, be careful of the weight gain from a better chef than yourself .
