Our whole branch had one of those days. Nothing wanted to be fixed. I blame Friday.

    true...
LOL, I always tell people I do machines I don't do people, when dad was in hospital, any time he needed anything doing, I deferred to mum, who used to be a nurse, or my sister, who is a carer, but when the A&E copier was jamming, I went and helped them out

Spots on Copies...I cleaned the dirty glass

Shows false jam... I showed them how to properly load paper.

Grindinfg noise on a Lexmark printer...Noise coming from duplexer. "What's a duplexer?" they ask. "Do you do 2 sided prints?" I ask. "No". ..so I removed the duplexer.

Black spot on prints. ..Mark on transfer belt from staple...They have to pay

    Thanks Debs!

    Our copier, who art broken
give us this day an easy fix
    for thine are the prints
free from shadows, marks, and that sort of weird yellowy green hue
    may your gears run free
and your your coronas charged to the max (but within operational tolerance)
or I shall strike down upon thee with furious anger
    a new fuser and devs
for mine is the hope that this fixith the problem!

    Can I get an amen?
The impossible is easy - miracles take a little longer

So how was Joan Baez?? Did you recover yet? Was your weekend what you needed?? Good Thread as we all have had those days/weeks. I like some of the great ideas from this "Passion Fingers" and "MY Brain is giving me the Silent Treatment" The broom too. good cheer all aroud.
For me it was a tuff weekend as my Mom is getting old and is, at 93, starting to show it. She was very tolerent of a boy who took everythimg apart to see what made it work. We tech's are curouis that way. sometimes I even put stuff back togethar and it worked! It is that side of the family that most of us take things appart and fixes stuff. Farmers and the like, now techs, machanics, and computer geeks.

I Hope this Looks up to be a great week for everyone. Kind of slow in our shop but there is always something that needs attention. And Happy early Birthday!! Red Heads rule!

Joan Baez was brilliant, I can die happy now I've heard diamonds and rust live.
Work is better this week, at least I appear to be able to fix things again, it's the rest of my life that looks like its standing at the edge of an abyss again this week

Could be suffering from "midlife crisis?", well it happens in the history of every one! 'One step forward, two steps backwards...' but life has to go on.
