    Thanksgiving

I would like to wish my many friends across the pond a very happy and peaceful thanksgiving, and to those of us who don't celebrate it, I send the same wishes anyway

    Re: Thanksgiving

How thoughtful, and even from a Brit that doesn't celebrate it!

Personally we celebrated early, nearly two weeks ago, when Mrs. blackcat could still shuffle to the table with her cane. She's 10 days into her recovery, and shuffling a little faster today, but not graceful enough yet to start balancing turkeys, pot and pans, and cooking implements. There are still two legs remaining (of the turkey), that will go into turkey salad sandwiches. My favorite attribute to turkey fat is it's ability to clean my hands until they're pink again. It cleans all the toner out of the pores.

I take it that Brits do not serve a lot of turkey? =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We have turkey at Christmas, some people have it at Easter too, but it's not a commonly eaten meat. I must say I've never used it as a hand cleanser
I hope Mrs Blackcat is recovering quickly.

    Re: Thanksgiving

I went to my brothers house in the San Jose area for Thanksgiving Day. Five and a half hour drive up, five hours there, four and half hour drive back much less traffic and didn't have to stop for lunch). Got to see my nephew, nieces, great nephews, great niece, and my five month old great great niece. Very enjoyable day, other than the driving.

    Re: Thanksgiving

I went to Mom and Dad's place yesterday for dinner. Not nearly the trek that slimslob made as mine was less than ten miles on country roads, but I guess that's just one of the things out here on the perimeter.
Mom's still a prolific producer of good food, and as such I was in a food stupor yesterday evening when I got home.
So a belated but still heartfelt thank you to all that wished a happy Thanksgiving, and hope you can find things to be thankful for even if you don't have this holiday.

Thank you Debs. It was good.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.
