    Winter weather walking gear kit

I am curious what other people pack when they need to drive through winter weather.
My kit contains an old snowmobile suit, a blaze orange ski mask, some visitor grade safety glasses, a pair of Danner boots, a couple of pairs of clean socks, a hooded sweatshirt and winter scarf. I used to have a pair of trigger mittens too, but they got lost a long time ago.

Here in San Diego , our winter weather driving requires t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops (if you're not concerned with safety).

My kit is fairly similar. Insulated Carhart's, Maple Leaf Sorels (two sizes oversized with double wool liners), Hat with ear flaps, Mittens. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Mine consists of a cell phone.

But I used to deliver pizzas, and on icy nights I would put a couple of drywall screws through the bottoms of my boots. It didn't matter how slick it got, I could pretty much run.

About same here insulated coveralls, hooded sweatshirt, vest, gloves. In 35 years have only had to use them twice.
When I got out of school spent 4 years working outside that was the coldest ,hottest , dustiest , muddiest place you could ever work.
But I was 18 and pay was good not sure if I could do that work again.

If 5" of snow would fall in London i'd take flask with hot coffee, water, sandwiches, empty bottle (galon size), full tank of fuel.
If a foot of snow would have fallen I do as above plus may call in first to actually find who is making it to work and whats the progress of traffic according to Gmaps. Have to add that if winter tyres would be mandatory, then I'd leave just as usual maybe half to an hour earlier.

Remind me to stop complaining about UK weather, although I do feel the cold more now that I'm getting on a bit

We don't really have winter here in the tropics. We have cold weather for about 4 weeks of the year.
It can get down to 0 deg cel. with thin ice on the windscreen of your outside vehicles. It's usually melted by 8-9am.
Weather here is warm to moderate most of the year.
