    Stupid stuff reps would sell.

The one rep of ours sold a c284e to a customer, well no problem with that the customer is now the proud owner of a single machine. The thing that gets me it the fact that he sold a expensive fleet management server based application called Ysoft to them for R24000 more or less $2000 US. On training i was told that this type of app is only worthwhile if u have like 5 plus machines. it irks me

When you think you have made a procedure idiot proof your company employs a better idiot.

Browser unit on a Ricoh MPC4503...with the Smart Op Panel.

The Smart Op Panel runs Android under the hood. The (superior) Android browser is sitting right there on the home screen when you boot the machine up.

I had a rather shady sales rep ( and I use that term very loosely) sell a customer "follow me printing" where you print to a server and go to any machine on the network and either type a code or scan an access card to print out your jobs. Then reduce all the copiers in the building down to 1 copier!
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
