Have you tried drinking lemon juice or applecider vinegar after the allergic reaction to settle you down.? Iodine is good for thyroid inbalance.

I haven't had this in years, but while I was growing up my mom fixed pork ribs with sauerkraut instead of barbeque sauce. That still makes my mouth water anytime I think of it.
Unfortunately, I was pretty young then, so I don't remember how to fix that. So I guess I'll just have to settle for reuben sandwiches.
