Lactose intolerant I would guess. One of my boys was lactose intolerant.
30-40 ml of Applecider vinegar in 1/4 cup of water first thing in the morning, may assit with digestion, also helps clear brain fog if your concerntration is low.
She might try eating a raw celery stick(controls stomach ulcer bateria heliobacter) during the day or a slice of pineapple(bromelin) first before meals. I could also show how to make a raw fruit&vege boost juice that would lift your energy levels all day. Mainly for active people though otherwise you may not be able to sleep.

Corn flake breaded, thin sliced pork chops. Fried in a shallow pan with oil then finished in the oven for 15 minutes for that o-so crispy deliciousness..................................I just talked myself into making chops tomorrow.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
One of my many favourites .....
Apricot chicken and vege's...
1/2 dozen chicken legs/thights in a stainless pot or baking dish.
Tin of apricot juice/nector .
A packet of french onion soup.
Cover with foil an place in moderate oven for 1 1/2 hr.
My missus likes the oven,my favourite method is pressure cooker.
Place mix in a stainless pot in pressure cooker for 45 mins ,turn off stove an let steam down for 15 mins.
You have to get the pressure cooker water height and s/s pot height correct else the chicken comes out a little running, you can add more packet soup later to thicken it though.
Chicken falls off the fork. Serve with roast vege or mash, heaps of apricot juice all over .... yum....

I don't think sauerkraut is fermented, at least not like kimchi is. At least the version of sauerkraut that I like is more like cabbage that is pickled in a brine that's mostly vinegar and salt, so it is good and sour.
At its most basic level, the reuben sandwich is corned beef and sauerkraut on toasted bread. I think ones that also have thousand island salad dressing and cheese are better, though.
