Just once for 37 years now; mostly happy years.![]()
I have been a tech for almost 30 years, and the one thing that I have noticed is that We cannot stay in a stable relationship. Is there something about Copier Techs that is not normal from the rest of the crowd. ( Please don't answer that rhetorical question, as we can't be normal, cos we are copier techs). So far all the companies I have worked for almost 90% of the techs have been divorced at some time.
So the question is "How many times have you been married?"

Once, for 7 years and still kickin'!
My first marriage. Only four years and a half, though (yep, still counting the "halves"), but I expect it to last many many more - it's expensive to get married, and much more expensive to get divorced, at least for men!
But I'm not worried - after all, I didn't marry a copier operator for nothing!![]()

I tend to agree with what you are saying, as I have noticed the same thing.
As for me I am in my third marriage, as I finally married the girl I was engaged to some 40 years ago. We met on a matchmaking site, and now have a great life. Been in the game for 40+ years.![]()
50% of the people in the US are divorced. I was married for 17 horrible months back in '74. I am currently living with my wife / girlfriend whom I met 13 years ago online. I was a plumber then. We've had our ups and downs currently we're in a downward spiral. We just moved to Vegas and I don't like it at all. We have to stay here though due to the fact that the wife bought all these houses here and we can't rent this house for what we need to cover the mortgage. So we're living in it. The only good thing is that we didn't sell our house in NY. We have it rented at a profit even. I wouldn't move back to NY though. I'm originally from Philly, moved to NY to be with the wife. She is a Unix programmer and she has to go back to the NY area every 6-8 weeks to visit her clients. The rest of the time she can do her work here and send it online but when she goes onsite she makes a ton of bucks. I guess I have to give it some time here. We've been here for about 7 weeks and I haven't even unpacked yet. We just bought a new bedroom set and new Tempurpedic king size mattresses for another $2500, the money keeps rolling out........
We moved here to save money........
