Re:KM is not Monica

inch: Love the MONICA term, hadn\'t heard it before. I know I live in a small dark place. Sorry for the confusion. Since my paid allegance is to another family I use the KM term loosely. I do understand the confusion of Konica/Minolta and Kyocera/Mita, Because I deal with the RFG machines. Hmmmm, Ricoh family Group, and they are Ricoh and Savin who brings Gestetner and Lanier and Monroe. Also don\'t forget NRG or Nashuatec ect. ect. Keeping the machine to a common brand or type is a challenge. Oh and now the manufacturers will trade technology (aka models) with each other but leave out some critical info for us. AS for the legal eagles, their gonna take someones money somehow!!!

Is that the Ricoh 105 cpm machine?
no. it the last \"konica\" model before the minolta merge. anything after this is a konica/minolta.

Re:Which was the BEST copier ever?

on small machines I\'d have to say the mita 1435 was a pretty
good box for it\'s time.
in the mid size i\'d have to say sharp AR M 350/450
are pretty great.

the DC-1435 was the last small machine built by mita that weighed over 30 pounds. We still have a bunch of them running on service contracts that are still making money today. The dc-1460 and dc-1470 machines that replaced them are going away much at a much faster pace.

Re:Which was the BEST copier ever?

I think the sharp AR M350/450 are the most reliable that
I\'ve worked on and they are for the most part very tech friendly.

Re:Which was the BEST copier ever?

I have to agree with the Kyocera 2530/3530/4030 and 3035... Falcoln 1 and 2. You could throw the thing down a flight of stairs (literally) and the thing would still work. If that is the only device that we had in the field I would have 1 tech and all profit.
