Check out the fuser connectors, on the fusing unit and in the machine

We have the same error code again with the second unit. In both fuserunits, the (recently new) transfer band was wrinkled (the new after 2500 A3) on one side and run out of the lead. after a provisional smoothing of the belt and bringing it back into the lead, the error code is gone for the time being. How can the crumpling of the belt be ruled out.

Wish you all a peaceful and healthy new year!

Fully rebuild the fuser, rollers, belt, bearings or update the machine.

It's too much maintenance after 200.000 prints to keep them running.
For us as a sustainable company that is certainly deficient. Also digital printers in this price segment should run and the wear parts must be counted on one hand.

Our fault: all can only press buttons on small cheap plastic boxes. Nobody learns anymore how to properly earn money with the right conventional machines.
So always nice every 2 instead of 20 years to buy a new one. And not only annoy yourself offline but also share the pain online in our huge suffering community.

Btw. If I know one thing as a media technologist, then this statement applies to all digital crunches. For every printed product there exists or existed a better conventional machine made of steel in which never all processes are digitized.

The reason for SC553 is due to the hole in the case of the fusing unit where the Thermopile reads the temp of the belt.
If the belt has that "golf ball" pattern the temp will be off.
From what I've read you haven't clarified whether or not the fusing assy has been PROPERLY refurbished or you've just been swapping out belts.
On these units you MUST replace ALL rollers when you re[place the belt.
And what do you mean you have the code "again"?
You weren't the original poster...you just hijacked his post?

You take an avatar from the online world personally? Hard to believe but sorry to you. The film from which exactly this drawing comes is certainly nice.

Differently. The oldest is probably our 20 year old ibm microchannel server for typography and plotting, followed by the amiga and some thinkpads for home and most recently a 10 year old cadnetwork workstation with 24 cores, 32GB, quadro + tesla graphics and SSD. Why?

First - Thank you for your interesting information that was new for me. Sound you have seen this!
    what do you mean with

When it is off how can I switch it and what exactly on?
Golf ball pattern is good described and what I see here.

The first unit with the golf ball belt was unmodified.
The second was rebuild. After I opened the unit I whould say only the belt comes new.
I also noticed that the main heater contained smaller wires than in the old unit and thought about replacing them. But unfortunately I do not know which is the last perhaps the most suitable revision.

After turning around and straightening the belt, the error has not been around for several days. but effectively I still do not have the solution to get a recurring golf ball structur on the other side of the belt. btw. always the right position of the belt next to the two thermopiles (left and middle) measuring points is affected ...

yes and sorry for hijacking. I thought we do not need a new essay with the same error code.
