MP1100 Fuser setting error

Hi I've got a MP1100 that says fuser unit not set error, with the doors open. When I insert the fuser unit, I get " paper output unit setting error" when the doors are closed with the fuser in. All wiring look OK, suspect IO board.

There's no paper wadded behind the fuser or wedged in the connector to the main board? I've had a few of the bigger machines throw all kinds of errors thanks to paper bunched into the fuser connector.

checked for that, the fuser not set with doors open, is the main puzzler, didn't this model have issues with the main door interlock switches?
