    Laser register problem Pro 1356

This month found a problem in a pro 1356, the paper was stuck on the registration roller and the engines kept moving the whole machine. After fighting several days I discovered that the machine was waiting for the signal laser that never came, change the laser and fix. there was no immediate code.

I saw something simalar on a 2105 once. It would quit feeding paper , but the machine kept running like it completing the job. It would run for 10 to 15 minutes until I shut it down, no code no jams. It turned out to be a broken gear on the tray 1 feed station..................

after a while came out spinning a code. I think it was 996 or something. the manual was referring to the polygon motor.
