MP 2501 Faint copies after new drum and developer

Hi. I am problems with Aficio mp2501 sp machines. I have changed replaced drum and developer but the copies are coming out faint. Even on a print out. I have initialised I.D. sensor and developer but to no avail. The funny thing is that the same developer works well on brand new machines. Please help

Are you using the proper developer type for this model?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Is only copying or are prints also light? If it is not used as a printer, are internal prints such as counter sheet light?

Are you using OEM toner and the correct developer for the model?
