Enter SP Mode on Ricoh 1107ex

    Hello everybody,

I need to reset the PM counter of the fusing unit on a 1107ex, but in the service-manual I can't find how to enter the SP Mode. Also googled and searched the Forum without succes. Isn't it "C"-1-0-7-"Stopp"?

Thanks for your support and have a nice day!

Most of the newer models have a red "Stop" button and a grey or blue "Clear" button. "C" is the "Clear" button.

Thanks guys, it was the blue "C"-Button
Now I set the PM-counter of fuser and fusercleaning 0, but message still shows up and blocks the machine. Will have a look into the SM tomorrow, maybe I did something wrong.

    Thanks again.

By set the PM counter to 0, did you use the on screen clear for each or did you change the target value to 0? The on screen Clear button for the fusing unit will clear its count to 0 and also all the component parts below it. If the cleaning web had completely ran out, you may need to set SP 1902-001 to 0. Some machine also require rebooting.

    Good morning Slimsob,

I used the Clear Buttons, so I think it must be SP 1902-001. Tried everything yesterday, even set Fuser-PM to useraction instead of service, but nothing helped.
I will visit the machine today and give it another try. Thank you for your help.

Very definitely sp1902 code needs resetting to zero.

Assuming of course you fitted the web correctly and the sensor flag is not on the wrong side of the web!

Thanks to everybody. Set 1902 to 0 and everything worked fine.
    Problem solved!
