Re: How to set up "Auto Pop UP -- USER CODE Dialog" for Ricoh Print driver

Hi guys, just joined this forum and having a look around and came across this thread - If you can't get the packager or editor to work try this:

Extract the driver files out, open the *.RCF file in wordpad, and add in this string - <popupbeforeprint type="usercode"/>

Save the RCF file, install the driver and hey presto - instant popups. This will break the digital signature of the driver though, so you'll have to ignore that.

Any driver mod to the DLL's or installer files will break the digital signature for Windows.

I was looking to see if anyone had this popup work on a MAC OS.

I have never seen a pop up for Mac drivers, Ricoh or otherwise.

Note that the pop-up is only for PCL drivers even on the Windows platform, no PostScript.
