    tray priority ????

    i have a c3001

    tray 1 letterhead
    tray 2 letter
    tray 3 letter
    tray 4 legal

    i have set

    copier to tray 2
    fax to tray 2
    printer to tray 2

when client prints usercode count per user it pulls out of tray 1 i need it to pull out of tray 2 is there a way to direct internal prints to pull from tray 2...

I beleive that the first tray with 8.5x11 is the factory programming for all internal reports, weather it is user reports or service reports. They way around it is to leave tray 1 empty then the machine looks for the next 8.5x11 tray and then the next available tray with paper..................

Agree. Another simple solution, set tray 2 for the Letterhead instead

I agree. You can also just pull the tray out while printing reports.

Is there a reason that the user does not want to default to tray 1?

Yeah I was going to say put letterhead in tray 3, and leave 1 & 2 for plain letter
