MPc3502 tray #2 auto paper size detect

MPc3502. Tray # 2 will only show 8.5 x11 length wise. I cannot set the tray settings to auto detect because there is none within the user tools\tray settings. I have updated all the firmware, changed the drawer switch (just because) tried another tray assembly, no change.
    Any ideas?

Under user tools / intitial settings / general features / see if "small paper size tray" is turned on for tray 2 if it is turn it off. This is only turned on when an envelope tray is installed which wont allow wide edge paper of that size.

You might have to turn the machine off and back on if you do change it from on to off in order for it to take effect
