Aficio MPC 3000 Still new toner can't detect
Good day Sirs, I already replaced the toner pump cyan and yellow but still the machine can't detect the new toner or still can't supply to the developer. TIA

Set SP 3045 to 1. If the machine then works properly, either the RFID chip on the back of the toner cartridge is bad or the RFID board in the back of the machine is bad.

Hi there!
One dumb question: do you changed only the pump? They come along with a new pipe, and a fellow technician only changed the pump, leaving the old pipe in the machine - trouble, ´cause the pipes were blocked! The time he "spared" was "for the cat" (as we say in Germany).
Greetings...

Hi Sir, It's automatic that you also include the hose in replacing the pump because it is attached with the pump when you purchase it Sir. TIA

Re: Aficio MPC 3000 Still new toner can't detect
Couple of things to try.
Remove the ITB and all the PCU's Spread some paper under the pumps.
Go into service mode. Copy SP. Enter MODE and look for output mode.
With the door tripped turn on the toner supply motor then scroll down and turn on the offending toner pump. see if any toner is fed through the pump. You may have to do this a couple of times. I have had air blocks in the pipes in the past. If you are getting toner through the pump then replace everything and do a force add toner.
If your not getting anything through the pump in this manner just check that the wiring on the pump connector isn't damaged, ive had an engineer trap the wire when replacing the ITB.
And one thing that RICOH support recommended doing was doing a memory clear. This is a bit extreme though, although it has worked for us on a couple of occasions.
Also as previously mentioned check then toner end sensor at the back of the machine. I've had these fail in the past too.
Hope that's of some use.

Just curious if you are using original Ricoh toner or some other brand.
Also, if you can do it without making a big mess, take the offending toner cartridge out of the machine and tilt it back and forth gently. If you can't feel the toner flowing from one end of the cartridge to the other, it's likely that it either got baked to a crisp in the hot summer sun sometime, or someone has emptied the toner out of the cartridge before you got it.
Well, that's the best I can come up with based on the information shared. Sorry if that was a waste of time.

Clean to toner sensor.
My mpc 3500 have this fail.
Check status menu. Toner status.

What is the exact message you are getting, is the machine saying "toner not set" or "toner depleted/empty" ?

I never replace the hose, just the pump. Done in 5 minutes instead of 30. I have never had an issue doing this.
