    Nashuatec 6005 intermittent light copy

Hello we have a problem about the 6005 machine. We changed already the drum,td sensor,id sensor, developer, gears, toner supply motor but the copy is still light. We tried to do force toner and the copy becomes ok but during copying more than 100 light copy will return. The machine also don't indicate add toner even it is already light copy. Any suggestion? Thank you.

I would check the toner hopper (on top of the dv unit) and see how well the toner is coming out of the holes. What is the ID sensor interval?

Has there been any other changes to SP settings?

It sounds like it may be a physical problem (worn hopper, etc) rather than a sensor problem. But, strange things do happen.

    HI

Hello Friend, We Already Change The Toner Hopper(assembly). We Tried To Change The Id Sensor Interval Then Return To Default But The Same Problem Occurred. Yes It Can Be A Physical Problem! Sp Mode Default Is Intact No Changes Done Yet. Thank You For Your Time

Try checking the toner end sensor in input mode when copies are pale and when they are dark.
If the sensor checks ok I suggest a wiring/board problem.

You stated that you replaced the developer drive assembly? I would watch all of the components in an output check mode, and make sure that none of them are binding. Are there any paddles in the dv assembly that are broken? I would check all input settings for the indirect and direct sensors for toner supply & detection.

I guess there would be a few ways to approach this:

    1) Is there a sensor failing or not properly telling the machine the toner supply/level?

    2) Is there a physical problem that, given proper sensor operation, is not allowing enough toner to be supplied?

    3) Is there a board that is not functioning properly for input detection or proper output drive?

Recheck all connectors and make sure that there are no bent pins or something. Have you swapped the entire dv assembly with a known good assembly?

I am curious as to the problem you find.
