Ricoh Aficio 2090 freezes while printing?

I have a Ricoh 2090 that just stops printing, but the copier thinks its still printing. Its running and the green light is lit on the monitor. the only clue is that the last page printed has thin black bars going across the partially printed page. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try to re-seat the Memory Sticks on the controller.

Does it do it enery time??

Think the first thing I would do is reload the firmware. Then if that doesn't help format the hard drives. Make you you let the customer know before you format in case they have stuff stored on them they want to replace.

I have replaced both memory chips and hard drives. I would think firmware would be next. I am a Konica Minolta tech and am helping out a friend. So if someone knows where I can get the proper firmware that would be great!

You would have to get it from the Ricoh site which you aint doing if you don't have a tech ID.

Maybe somebody here can zip it up and email it to you. I don't hvae those files anymore or I would be glad. You have to install them on an SD card.
The card has to be set up a certain way. There has to be a folder named romdata and within that folder must be a subfolder with the machine number. Then the firmware is located in it.

When you want to load it you have to power down, put the card in the slot then power back up. The machine will take it from there.
