MP201 Windows 10 scan to folder

Hey guys, has any body been able to make a MP 201 scan to windows 10 folder?

Ive done all my tricks i normally do for Windows 7 and i have had no luck with this thing.

I know the older copiers don't support SMB 3.0 or something along those lines and they can't scan but MP201 is a current model. I checked TRSC site and the newest firmware is from 2014 for NetworkDocBox.

Any body else had any luck?

You want the Network Support firmware, not NetDocBox. The 201 should have an update for Windows 8/Server 2012, which were the first versions of Windows to use SMB 3. Go ahead and update everything and try setting up everything again.

I went back to the TRSC and found a special firmware that takes care of this issue.

If you are logged into TRSC those links should download the proper file.

I realize this is a very old Thread, but is there any way that you can provide this firmware? Id be willing to purchase firmware that would allow a Ricoh 201 to scan to windows 10.

I would advise that you start a new thread. Many of us old farts who would have the firmware don't appreciate grave robbers.

If you are willing to pay for the firmware, place a call on the machine and a Ricoh tech will come and update it.

Just either use scan to email or scan via ftp using filezilla server

All firmware needs to be current especially NCS.

Win 10 has more steps. Try this..

You're quoting the guy that started this thread over 2 years ago, and it was resolved in short order, and he returned to update us that it was a firmware issue.
