Need to replace the fixing belt on a C5502...

Independent Ricoh tech for 15 years and just ran into one of these C5502's today.
It has 333666 clicks on the fuser, 90% b/w copies.

I found smudges on copies and prints.
I removed the fuser and inspected.
Found what looked like scratches and and scrapes on the belt, plus isn't 300K end of life for the belt?

Now the fun part...I've never seen this type of fuser before.
I've been searching for a service manual for a C5502 and haven't found a source yet.

Also PR doesn't list a fixing belt as a stand alone part.
I see a Ricoh Aficio MP C5502 Fixing Film Assy. Does this include a belt?

So I guess I'm asking for help with a service manual for a C4502 / C5502 and a place to purchase parts.
    I do have a C4501 / C5501 Service Manual...close enough? EDIT...I see the fusers are different N/M.

Also any repair advice and knowledge you my have on this fuser would be really appreciated.

    Thanks so much!

I think the part number you require is D144 4032. There's a few on ebay. Deffo need a service manual for this fuser, it's a bit of a shitter.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Here is the fusing section of the manual. (The procedure is the same for 3002 and higher, but they take different lamps. Check the watts match before you replace, the 5502 sleeve will work in the 3002, but not vice versa).

Note, the new sleeve unit doesn't include the stripper plate, so when you remove the old sleeve, you also need to remove the old stripper plate. (The two springs unhook easily).

The fusing sleeve assembly includes new heat lamps so order the correct part for your part of the world. You do not want to put 120 volts in a 240 volt machine or 240 in a 120. I had a junior tech order the wrong one once. When the part came in, I was the one sent out to replace it, an hours drive away traffic permitting. I had to swap out the lamps, not a fun thing to do which is why they only sell the assembly. Got home about 7 that night.

Is this from the EU parts catalog or the NA parts catalog?

You should probably replace the pressure roller too. If you don't, at least clean the thermistors.

At 333k, absolutely. I think it is rated for 360K.

You have the complete catalog then. That is the one our junior tech downloaded and didn't know the difference. Just make sure you order the correct one for your region.

    My advise.
Change the the fuser ass. Saves a lot of time and the new ones are improved as well. Important is to uppdate firmware too
