Print off a config page. If IEEE802.11x Authentication for Ethernet is active, disable it in interface settings. It's locking the NIC out. If you put it on a static IP crossovered to your laptop, does it ping?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
Have you tried resetting the NCS with SP5-801-11?
Make sure 5985-01 is on
What operating system are the computers the machine is hooked up to using?
If you disconnect the C2800 and connect your laptop does the laptop get an IP form the DHCP. If not, either they are not using DHCP, their DHCP is set to only accept requests from registered MAC addresses or there is a bad port on the switch.
Thanks for all the help sorted its was the IEEE802.11x Authentication
