AF030072, AF031098, AF032098 Looking for the LCT feed roller number.

So recently started using these rollers in the regular feed trays for the 1106 and 1356 model. We have a couple companies that average just over 100k pages a week on these machines, we tried using the 0040s and 0080s for years with an average of 80k to 120k on them before replacement was needed, sep and feed start chewing on the front feed edge when they wear out. So a month ago i used these newer style and was around 300k before i replaced them during a routine PM so they did last double almost triple the time as the previous rollers.

My question is one of my companies runs almost exclusively from the LCT tray 5 and the feed roller is different due to the reversed direction of feed, does anyone know the part number for the AF031098 roller that is reversed for bypass/LCT feed. I would venture to guess its like 1099 or 1097, the af031080 version is an af031081. I would like to get the LCT one and start using them with my other customer.

As far as I know they haven't made any LCT rollers like the AF031098 yet. The ones I use are from the C901 LCT. PU-AF030071, F-AF031071, S-AF032041. They won't last quite as long as the new design, but they help with heavier weight and textured stock. Hope that helps.

Sorry I read the post wrong these rollers would fit the 8100 LCT , not the 907 family. I'll check around and see if there is one later this week.

I was searching google and reseller sites and can only find the 1098 but not a reversed one for the LCT side. Which is a bummer this style runs quite a bit further on plain paper. What i might try is just take the rubber off the 1098 and swap it over to the 1081 plastic part and see if it will roll that way the inner diameter should be the same.

If you can share how you get the rubber part off the roller without breaking it I'd be interested in learning how that is done. Years ago that used to be easy, but anymore when I try that the rubber part always breaks. D'oh.

I haven't done one in a while but i managed to get one of the af030085s off before so it may or may not work or be worth the effort.

The problem I can see with changing the rubber at least on the feed roller is that you would be putting new rubber on a feed roller where the one way bearing might be nearing its end of life.

I really like the 901 lcit feed rollers, but the 8100 uses a 1083 for the feed roller in the lcit........I carry several of those...........

I went to a 907 today with a 5030 LCIT and was able to use PU-AF030071, F-AF031041, S-AF032041 rollers from the C901 LCT. They last a little longer than the 0080,1081,2080 rollers. Hope that helps.

longevity depends on the media run!! on a c901 i can see everything from 20# paper to 12pt ChromeKote, on a 907 it's mostly 20# or 24# paper...............
