mpc2050 jams at regi. sens. log -17

    Hoi,
It Happen sometimes, always just before the regi. roll's without creases.
The attachment of an earlier thread says the 2 one way bushings of the paper feed can cause these jams.
There is not a regi clutch present, it is motor-feeding, so it has to be the one way roller gears?
It seems it only jams with tray 1, not tray 2...
so the only way is the one way ?
    Greetings,
    Mark

Try changing the spring clutches on the paper feed first. They are a bit of a bugger to get at on tray 1 though.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I agree with feed clutch. I've had this and if you can manage to get the spout of a tin of solvent in to the clutch and give it a squirt, and it feeds okay, order a clutch and they are a fiddely to fit but do-able. And it will get you out of the whatsit until you can fit one.

My training material is saying that there are no paper feed clutches in this machine; there is a motor and there are two one way gears or bushings / tray.
So what is that you mean?
Could it be that the motor must be adjusted for "staying on for a longer period of time"?
If you are just guessing, don't forget to mention it please!

I checked the part catalogus, there is no paper feed spring clutch in this machine, only roller clutches.
So can you please be more serious when replying?
    Thank you.

D0391166 & 64 have been replaced by D1051166 & 64. They are gears with a one-way spring clutch. Parts catalog descriptions can be misleading.

Byrne, how wright you were. Indeed, the clutch-gears have a spring on it. Thank you!

So after blatantly disputing the fact this machine even has spring clutches you are rude enough to say people are giving you duff advice? Really.
