    MPC8002

    What calibrations and resets are needed when i replace the black cleaning unit on this one. Thanks t

    If the ITB Cleaning Unit needs to be done also, follow the precautions in the service manual "Notes on Replacing the Drum Cleaning Unit and Drum Cleaning Blade" to prevent damage to the ITB blade.

    Reset the appropriate PM counter(s) for the cleaning unit only in SP 7622 and turn off power. Replace/rebuild the drum cleaning unit only. Turn power on. Drum cleaning unit will be initialized automatically. Run SP 3040 for the drum unit replaced/rebuilt.

    It's interesting on how people reset options on this device.

    I have been advised to use SP3701-xxx depending on what requires resetting which I have used since day 1.

    Never tried Slimbobs way....
