    MPC3000 sc 565

    Code

    565
    Description

Heating lamp consecutive full power 3
When the fusing unit is not running in the ready condition, the pressure roller-fusing lamp keeps ON full power for 120 seconds or more.

I have replaced the fuser with another one and it still throws this code the lamp is not broken, any suggestions?

    Replace the PSU.

Had this just a couple of weeks back, and a PSU resolved it, after fuser replacement didn't

If PSU does not correct it, check harness from the PSU to the fusing unit. Also check the machine side connector for a bad pin. I had a Pro 1107EX where the tab on the connector that held the contact pin in place had broken and when the fusing unit was inserted, the pin pushed back in the connector and did not make proper connection.

In your initial post you said that you had replaced the entire fuser without success

Most likely did not replace with a new fusing unit.

The thermopile can also cause this issue.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.
