In case you get an unresponsive touch panel, check the lower black cover under the touch panel for debris. Just had one with a paper chad that was freaking the touch panel out thinking it had multiple touches. How rude

The V2 panels will do that same if you put a screen protector on them that either covers the whole panel or touches the top frame of the panel. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't watched the customer put the protector on themselves.
Thanks for the heads up, Guys!
I have a (very good) customer who just bought 15 MP C4504s with SOPs and they want to put screen protectors on them.
I will let them know about those edges.

Something to keep in mind is that the customer cut and applied the protector, not me and I wasn't close enough to tell how centered it was. You may benefit from buying a pack of generic protectors and slapping them on in the shop during initial setup and see how the machine works.
The machines are in their break/conference room which has a popcorn machine. So yeah. Screen protection was needed. Their supervisor had our salesman tell them that if they buggered the panel it would kill the whole machine to put the fear into them.
Especially when they are.... wait for it.... £3800.
