    Since it is a user function, someone might have changed it or someone might done a memory clear that reset it to factory default of 10 seconds. If the machine has JAVA installed and started, the default time can cause other problems when coming out of energy savings.

    ADF original set sensor might be broken.
    Had this issue on a mpc3002

    Hi all. Just a quick update on this case. The large board on the ops panel was faulty. Replaced the board, now the energy saver button is working correctlly. No firmware or user error.
