MP4002 WITH SC396 ERROR

I can make some copies but then it trips this error. I replaced the drum drive motor a new drum and checked to see if there was any drag in the pcu along with the developer unit but both are smooth any ideas appreciated.

did you replace the entire pcu? or just the drum?

Hi there!
When all goes smooth & the cables are OK then is the IOB-board bad. In 5 years only 1 board "dies" in the field, but it´s worth a try.
