I don't work on older Ricohs and am having some issues with a color 4006.
I'm trying to get into the network setup menu to enter in the IP address. The machine has a bootup menu that is LED on the left side (separate from center touch screen) and it has the LAN, USB, etc. ports on the box in the back of the machine.
I can't find the proper menus to get into the machine. I'm thinking that since it's older it has a separate server box (akin to a desktop tower) that should be with it but I'm unsure.
The online drivers don't seem to help either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, how to enter service mode would be appreciated as well.
Thanks.

Nope, your machine is ready to print, it has a EFI E-300 on the back, USB on it is off service (not used) the SCSI socket is for loading bootable system software from SCSI CDrom. only the RJ 45 is active:
1. If the copier is powered off, power it on.
2. Wait while the E-300 and the copier perform their startup sequences.
The E-300 displays the Info screen when ready. The copier beeps 3 times when ready. Scroll down to display E-300 status.
3. Press the Menu key to access the Functions screen.
4. Select Print Pages.
5. Select Test Page.
6. Examine the Test Page.
Success in printing the Test Page confirms that the E-300 is functional and connected properly to the copier. Poor quality may indicate a need to service or adjust the copier, not the E-300.
to enter the fiery menu:
the small key with a square enters MENU, the # key is enter. the key that looks like a watch is the return to previous MENU.
Your IP address can be input via fiery menu, just scroll to network settings\IP settings\enter IP address\subnetmask\exit and make sure you anwser save settings.
the fiery server will now reboot, so that your changes come active.
You can crosscable it to your laptop, and access the server via browser, check your computer and make sure its running ISS services.
If not, control panel\add and remove programs\add windows componentes\scroll to ISS services and check the box.
Fiery menu looks something like this:
Info
Server Name
Reboot Server
Run Diagnostics
Resume Print
Suspend Print
Functions
Print Pages Select.
Hope this helps
