Turn it back on and wait one minute. Then try to turn it off. If the indicator continues to flash, let it flash for at least 20 seconds or more then turn off the main power.

Seems possible damage to the hard drive or damage to the controller or ram. Try switching the machine off at the power switch in the front door and pulling out the plug. Then put the plug in, followed by holding down your # and * keys together and the turning on the switch in the front door. This should take you into a diagnostics mode and will take long to go through the process, just wait and see what it says.

You might need to call in a technician. If you are a technician (but I doubt that you are) try testing 1 by 1 , by doing the following, (1) disconnecting the hard drive,or (2) Removing RAM and seeing if it might start up. You will need to pull the plug out in all cases and then plug in and switch. Please remember all safety at all times.

    Kind Regards

Please again be safe. Call a technician if you just a end user.

After pressing both # * then On power, what next step should I do? Disconnect hard disk then need to connect before I on machine? How about ram, also pull out before on power?

If it has been flashing for 20 minutes, go ahead and turn off the main switch.

By the time the indicator has been flashing for at least 30 seconds, the HDD has parked its head and spun down. RAM is not going to be damaged. If anything turning the main switch and allowing the power supply capacitors to fully discharge will clear the memory error that is causing the machine to think that a fan somewhere is still on. That is why is keeps flashing, it thinks something, usually a fan, is still running.

    just try this,
switch off at main switch in the door
    pull out plug
    wait 1 min
    put plug in
hold down both # and * keys
    switch on
keep holding down # and * keys for about 30 secs
this should start diagnostics mode and machine will run a self test
if it picks up a fault it will tell you

if that doesnt work and you are fully qualified technician
    switch machine off
    remove plug
    unplug hard drive
    plug in and switch on
see if the machine now starts up
If the machine starts up then hard drive is gone.

    if that doesnt work a
    switch machine off
    remove plug
    remove RAM
    plug in and switch on
see if the machine now starts up
If the machine starts up then RAM is gone

    try that

Please be safe and follow precautions
