    jam on MP6001 feeder
Um, would that cause the print paper to stop before the reg rollers like in the initial post?
I wouldn't think so, but like I said I don't work on that model so I'm probably full of crap.

Re: Mp6001 DF jamming when duplexing

SO the problem is the copying of double sided originals from the Feeder?

Try doing a double sided original from the platen glass

If it still has the problem then it sounds like your Controller, RAM or Hard drive

If it doesn't still have the problem then the Feeder is at fault. Change Feeder and test.

my 2 cents if it just hangs up when doing duplex saying copying but nothing happening I would check rom and I believe there was an issue with PCBs on those and loading the wrong firmware to them or something so check your TSBs on that adf rom, but i would probably attempt to save the address book and reformat the HDD since its pretty quick and easy, but i recently had one locking up like that and ended up replacing both ram cards on the controller to fix it.

Yes I've had something similar a few years ago now. I'm over heating the grey matter(noggin) trying to remember how I fixed it.
I know I played around in SP mode and reinitialised settings , say NCS, deleted all the server-doc files and the fax files.
I may have format the HDD and reinitialised the address book, may have , I'm not sure. All I remember is that it jogged some thing in the NVRAM and the machine settle down after that, and we never heard from it again.

    At your own risk:
Try SP5801-004 (IMH image memory clear), and
    SP5801-011(NCS)

Because I don't like leaving loose ends, just wanted to say what the solution was here. A couple of my colleagues had moved the machine to a higher floor and split the copier in two halfes. Turns out he didn't plug in a connector on one of the boards behind. Now let me find something wooden to bang my head on.

Unplug and plug back in all the connectors of the df main board.
I presume it is the wright DF for that model...
    So... I was very close...
