    But the administrator and supervisor passwords would be at default, the entire point of the thread.

    It seems to be back to printing normally, thanks for the tip on the birth certificate to get it back going. The only thing I notice odd now is that the magenta and cyan toners show as unknown with ? in the display where they were showing levels before. Any suggestions on that? They need replaced halfway soon anyway.

    I'd ignore it for the time being.

    Once you replace the cartridges with new OEM ones, you SHOULD get the display back to showing levels again.
