    Question Ricoh mpc 5502

    White specs on only the black copies If you do a all black page it looks specked. Replaced DV unit and drum with no change. Help!!

    Try cleaning or replacing the black transfer roller in the ITB unit.

    Random white specks is common with the Pro 8100 series if you don't replace the transfer (pressing) roller when you replace the ITB belt.

    Or take it out, wash gently with water, little soap, rise well with water, after let dry the Black ITB transfer roller and will work, i do it on on several types of devices successfully and all work for now

    That would only effect the black portion of the copy?

    Yes but if you like to work or you have specks on color, also you can take out the yellow, cyan, magenta roller and clean gently with water
    (usually work every time)
