    spc811dn toner issue

    I have the spc811dn with a issue in the toner, I am using a brand new generic toner that it wont read, I have cleaned out the pump and all the connecting tubing, is there a setting I need to change for it to except it some how?

    If the machine was working before you installed the new generic toner, the new toner cartridge is unusable. Send it back for a refund or warranty replacement.
    Generic toner can be like that sometimes. If you choose to use it, that's a risk you have chosen.

    As not to waste any I put a new chip in and pour left over toner from one bottle to another. When your pour out the OEM toner it will flow smooth like water but when you try to pour generic toner it comes out in clumps and doesn't pour smoothly thus clogging toner tubes and burning up toner pumps! You will save no money using generic toner.
