Yeah, what is a "xconnect -II LT box"

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

This is a print server that connects to the parallel port.
You will need to check if you have the printer/scanner option installed.
Press the user tools key and there should be a printer option on the display and print a config page.
If you have the option go to the Ricoh website and get a driver - all basic stuff - shouldn't be a problem.

I'm just guessing here, but this "xconnect box" sounds like an external print server, and further I'm guessing that you're trying to network print thru the print server to the parallel port of the MFP.

The first question I have is this really a parallel print port, or is it just a way to load firmware to the MFP? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi Guys, Thanks so much for the replies.
your right blackcat4866 about " trying to network print thru the print server to the parallel port of the MFP" . The reason why the boss wants to try out the xconnect server connection is our SAP guys are thinking the "Ricoh printer's network implentation is not compatible with our SAP printing environment".

Printer would usally jam when printing SAP jobs and would only allow one active connection.

Will check on FRIDGEMAGNET suggestion and update you guys. Again thanks a lot.
