Thumbs down Factory reset Ricoh MP402SPF and C307

Hi, all! We set SIP Server ip with port (172.16.0.10:5160) and now show printers SC899-00 errors and you can not change anything back. How can I reset these printers to factory defaults?

SC 899 is almost always going to just be a software bug. Often it happens when printing from IE, but really any internal app can cause it as well. If a print job was sent to it, you'll have to clear the queue of the job to get rid of the error (otherwise it sends the job constantly and throws the error again). If you leave a door open it should prevent the machine from going ready and stop the error from popping if it's something software related. From there you should be able to change any settings needed.
If nothing was sent to it, and it pops the error even after a reboot of the machine then there's a chance something is physically damaged (bad board).

    SC899-00
Software performance error (signal reception end)
-Occurs when an internal program behaves abnormally.

In the case of a hardware defect
     Replace the hardware.

In the case of a software error
 Turn the main power off/on.
     Try updating the firmware.

If you simply cannot get it working from outside of SP Mode, as mentioned, SP 5801 (Memory All Clear) will wipe all settings. It is an absolute last effort, in B&W it normally won't cause too many issues, but there is a chance of causing massive issues if done improperly.
Edit: 5801-001 is Memory all clear, but if you think it's just network for some reason, there is a network clear that is 'safe' to run. 5801-011 NCS.

just hard to imagine that the soft crashes due a little thing. Show me those programmers who forgot to give the opportunity to change the port. Always use Kyocera and then decided to try Ricoh. Disappointed to be honest.

Don't do a 5801-001. Whatever you do. Reset the NCS, printer and scanner memory in the same SP mode.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

With SC 899, the first thing to do is turn the power completely off and disconnect all network, phone lines and USB. You should then be able to power back on without the error. Next step is to have the firmware updated.

Sc 899 usually occurs when someone is printing a HTML document. Do what slimslob suggests, and have them clear their print queue on the server (or pc). If you don't, it will code again when you reconnect to the network.
    NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING

If it is a HTML print problem that firmware update will correct, there is no need to clear their queues. Just do not reconnect until after updating. There are also SC 899 associated with FAX and internet FAX. These are usually firmware correctable.
