Ricoh MP C307 and 407 can single pass scanning for letter size but not for legal size

For the MP C307 and 407 I am not sure if it atypo on page 7 of the brochure or not; it says (under theSingle Pass Scanning section): “ up to 8 ½ x 11 “. It makes no mention of 14”,which is needed. The specs section does not specifically say it either. But it does copy and print up to 14"
They do mixed sized originals (lease packages), so I need it to do legal size.
I have attached an image of the brochure's page 7 where it mentions this.

Thanks but I know it has a single pass feeder, that was not my question. Your European version of the Brochure is different I see.
I just need definite confirmation on the ability to single pass legal size since the brochure in the USA says "up to 8 1/2" x 11". which is only letter.

The brochure apparently specs the copy capability of the basic model. The basic machine is only 8 1/2 X 11. If it has an added paper tray(s) then it will handle 8 1/2 X 14.

Thanks for pointing out that yes, the first paper drawer will only hold letter size, but you can put legal in the bypass. Exposure glass can take up to legal size.

But it's the scanner I am concerned about, and page 7 says up to 8 1/2 x 11" max size. This where I am having the issue. Don't want to order it and find out it won't single pass legal in a mixed-size set of originals.

It will scan 8 1/2" x 14" just fine!! What the brochure was referring to was "80 Images Per Minute at 8 1/2" x 11". Scanning legal will obviously be a bit slower, but your device will handle the paper just fine.

Sometimes to have to read in order to know what they MEAN....and not what they're actually SAYING!!

Actually it says "Up to 80 ipm" and then up to 8 1/2" x 11". I don't see why they don't say up to 80 ipm and up to 8 1/2" x 14". So I am not convinced that it will single pass scan legal at any speed until someone can confirm it definitely. I do not have one in inventory to check unfortunately. Does anyone have one of these in they could test? This is the newer model. I have seen issues like this before and you cannot trust the brochure sometimes.

I have some in front of me. You set the second feed tray to 81/2 X 14, select tray #2 for copy paper source and feed your legal sized original through the document feeder. IT DOES WORK.

I appreciate your copying a legal size original and checking that it makes a copy onto legal size paper.
However, what I am asking is if it will SCAN a two-sided original and if you open up the PDF are you seeing two legal sixed pages? (check to make sure they are not cut off at the 11" mark). Thanks.
