    RIcoh mpc4000 finisher

    Hi,
I have a problem with finisher when I am doing staple copy or print on ricoh mpc4000 machine. Finisher does not push paper enaugh strong out and papers start to twist. Any suggestion what to do?

Which finisher? Can you provide a picture of the twist and where it happens?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I'm sure you've cleaned the rollers, right?

The 2 foam rollers on the SR-790 finisher exit will cause lots of problems when they disintegrate.

...on these finishers, you have the drive rollers...which are gray rubber. Then you have the pressure rollers, which believe are white plastic. Make sure these plastic pressure rollers have the backing pressure spring so they provide pressure against the drive rollers to move the paper through! if not, paper can skew and jam in the paper path! Also, you may need to clean the gray drive rollers...I use WD-40 to clean the rollers with, and also lubricate bushings so everything moves freely.

    Good Luck!
