Ricoh drum conversion between color 01 series & 02 series

I would like to ask you guys about drum coversion specifically Ricoh color 01 series & 02 series.

First of all, it's about K drum. D0892250 is for MPC 01 series & D1442251 is for MPC 02 series & then I have a question. Can I use D0892250 (MPC 01 series K drum) into MPC 02 series K drum instead of D1442251? It now is C$100.00 price different & I am hoping that I can use D0892250 for MPC 02 series K drum to save cost & my car stock volume.

Secondary, it now is about color drums. I have been using D0292256 K drums to replace both 01 & 02 color drums by carrying out several modifications for a long time & then now I have another question. Can I use B2242042 K drum instead of D0292256 when I have to replace 01 & 02 color drums. I am sure that there are some necessary modifications such as swapping pins & filing plugs even if this is possible but let me know if some of you guys have already explored these things & if it's successful.

We basically only use D0292256 for both colour & Black on all the MPC3001 - MPC4500 - MPC3002 Series

There is as you say I few modifications to carry out with this is very simple & worth it for the cost saving.

We use B2242042 as the only mod to the black drum to be used for colour is to shave the connector.

Even easier and cheaper is to use the maintenance kits from the SPC820 and SPC830

They work a treat with little modification
